The IFR/Aeroflex 6000-OPT5 is designed for easy and user friendly installation support and verification over 978 MHz frequency for aircraft lying below 18,000 feet. In addition, UAT transceivers will also be installed on airport ground support equipment (emergency equipment, fuel trucks and life support) whose installations will also require to be verified.

• Display of METARS/TAF information
• Display aircraft AA ICAO address, LA T/LONG and other vector information
• Test screens provide up to five static intruders and entry for UUT LAT/LONG and UUT heading, with independent bearing and range for each intruder.
