The Aeroflex / IFR TCAS-201-2 TCAS test set is a ramp tester which mimics the airborne environment essential to allow verification/ certification of correct function of an aircraft's TCAS installation.

The TCAS-201-2 supplies the ability of monitoring the TCAS interrogations (displaying decoded information / communication data) and producing ATCRBS or Mode S responses that replicate threat aircraft for bearing accuracy, TCAS traffic and resolution advisories, power and frequency, whisper/shout steps and broadcast/surveillance interrogations.
