The tester is fully compatible with legacy and current Dukane Seacom beacons, providing dual-frequency testing at both 37.5kHz and 8.8 kHz utilizing multiple probes to accommodate various ULD models. Compatible Aircraft:
The TS500 is not aircraft-model specific. It is compatible with aircraft equipped with supported Dukane Seacom underwater locator beacons/underwater locating devices.
For a specific aircraft, AvionTEq recommends verifying compatibility based on the installed beacon model, frequency, maintenance manual requirements, and required TS500 probe/configuration.
The TS500 replaces the TS200 (which all aviation maintenance professionals are familiar with) and expands its capabilities. It has all the key features of the TS200, but it can test all Dukane Seacom ULDs, including legacy beacons DK100, DK120, DK130, and DK140, as well as the newer DK120/90, DK290, and DK180. As far as modern solutions combined with cost effectiveness go, this is the way to go.
