FDS40-0202 (Flight Data Systems) Features and Specifications *

The Flight Data Systems FDS40-0202 is a recorder-specific interface cable for use with the FDS40-0301 HHMPI (Handheld Multipurpose Interface). It allows the HHMPI to communicate with matching L3 FA2100, FA2200 and FA2300 Flight Recorders in order to carry out traditional recorder maintenance and data download functions, as well as recorder troubleshooting. It is the next-generation direct replacement for the legacy FDS400-202 interface cable, designed to be used with compatible recorder software and interface accessories. An appropriate on-aircraft CVR download cable may also be required for in-aircraft CVR downloads.
