PBS-4100R Plus (MTI Instruments) Features and Specifications *
The ultimate "one-shot" solution for test cell balancing.
This advanced system specializes in vibration analysis and jet engine trim balancing for both commercial and military aviation gas turbine engines. It is designed to quickly pinpoint engine issues and identify problems with precision. Its rapid configuration capabilities and user-friendly interface make it easy and efficient to operate.
During engine testing, the operator performs a vibration survey on the turbine engine. This involves gradually cycling the engine speed from idle to maximum and back to idle. Throughout this process, the PBS-4100+ test cell balancing system captures the vibration data from each spool and presents the results on various plots, including a key "Speed versus Vibration" chart. Additionally, it provides a comprehensive overview of the total vibration levels.
The MTI Instruments PBS-4100R Plus price and features make it a very attractive option compared to similar vibration analyzers / balancers available on the market.
