EBACS (ShockBox) Features and Specifications *

The ShockBox EBACS represents the latest advancement of our EBA (Electronic Battery Analyzer) Capacitance Test Box. It integrates the same analyzer and software found in the EBA, along with a dedicated PC and charger. This configuration enables simultaneous charging of one power supply or battery while testing and monitoring another. Tailored for assessing the capacitance of smaller standby power supplies and battery packs, it can sustain a load of up to 100 watts for discharge/resistance tests. It supports tests up to 4.1 amps for 24-volt units and up to 8.2 amps for 12-volt units within an hour. The software facilitates testing at higher C ratings and calculates the appropriate capacitance accordingly. For instance, a 24-volt 8ah (192 watts/hr) battery could be tested at 4 amps (96 watts/hr) for 2 hours, achieving an 80% capacity after 96 minutes.

The ShockBox Complete EBACS price and features make it a very attractive option compared to similar battery analyzer/charging systems available on the market.
