Laversab 6300-M4 Features and Specifications *

The Laversab 6300-M4 Automated Pitot Static Tester stands out as a sophisticated, highly accurate testing solution designed specifically for direct integration with an aircraft's Pitot and Static systems. Its compact, lightweight remote unit enables seamless operation from the cockpit, making it an invaluable tool for aviation professionals. This versatile device is engineered to test a range of critical aircraft instruments, including altimeters, climb indicators, airspeed/Mach indicators, air data computers, and auto-pilots. The tester is designed for direct connection to the aircraft's Pitot and Static systems. This feature allows the operator to manage testing procedures from the cockpit using a small and lightweight remote unit. The remote unit's design facilitates ease of use, displaying all vital parameters such as altitude, climb rate, and airspeed on a single screen. This cockpit operability enhances convenience and efficiency during testing. Accuracy is paramount in aviation testing, and the Model 6300-M4 excels in this area. The unit's high precision meets the stringent requirements of Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM) standards. This ensures that the device provides reliable and accurate readings essential for the safe operation of aircraft. The unit only requires calibration once a year, reducing maintenance downtime and operational costs. One of the standout features of the 6300-M4 Pitot Static Tester is its integrated vacuum and pressure pumps. These built-in components eliminate the need for external pumps, simplifying setup and operation. The pressure system includes a membrane dryer and filter to deliver clean, dry air, which is critical for maintaining the accuracy and reliability of the test results. Safety and reliability are further enhanced by the inclusion of emergency manual bleed-down valves. In the event of a system failure or power loss, these valves allow the operator to manually vent the system, ensuring the safety of both the equipment and the personnel involved.

The Model 6300-M4 is capable of conducting a comprehensive range of tests. It can evaluate altimeters, climb indicators, airspeed/Mach indicators, air data computers, and auto-pilots. A notable feature of this equipment is the "Profiles" capability. This allows operators to download a profile of standard set-points for altimeter or airspeed checks from a computer. Up to 20 such profiles can be stored, enabling the tester to run through a sequence using just a single key on the remote unit. This feature simplifies and speeds up the testing process, ensuring consistency and reducing the likelihood of human error. The "Jog" feature provides additional ease of use by allowing the set-point to be adjusted in small increments (1 foot or 0.1 knots) using arrow keys. This precise control helps in fine-tuning the testing parameters to achieve the desired results. This pitot static tester is built for durability and reliability. It is designed to operate in a range of environmental conditions, with an operating temperature range from 0°C to 50°C and storage temperatures from -25°C to 75°C. The unit can also handle humidity levels from 5% to 95% non-condensing. Its robust construction ensures longevity and reliable performance under various conditions. The unit operates on a wide range of power inputs (90-260 VAC, 47-440 Hz) with a power consumption of 150W. This flexibility makes it suitable for use in different regions and on various aircraft. Additionally, it features RS232 and optional IEEE-488 & Encoder interfaces for enhanced connectivity and data management. The main unit measures 22” x 14” x 9” and weighs 44 lbs, while the remote unit is 7” x 8” x 2” and weighs just 1 lb. This compact size and lightweight design make the Laversab 6300-M4 easy to transport and maneuver, adding to its practicality for field operations. The test set is particularly well-suited for use on fighter and attack aircraft due to its high altitude and airspeed range capabilities. Its precision and reliability make it an ideal choice for maintaining the safety and efficiency of high-performance aircraft.

The Laversab 6300-M4 Automated Pitot Static Tester is an advanced, reliable, and user-friendly device that meets the demanding needs of modern aviation testing. Its combination of high accuracy, built-in pumps, emergency features, and versatile testing capabilities make it an essential tool for aviation professionals. The integration of innovative features like the "Profiles" and "Jog" functions further enhance its usability, ensuring that the Laversab 6300-M4 delivers consistent and precise results with minimal effort. Whether for routine maintenance or comprehensive testing of high-performance aircraft, the Model 6300-M4 stands out as a top-tier solution in the field of Pitot Static testing.
